Abstract Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: Public grant(s) – National budget only. Main source(s): German Centre for Cardiovascular Research Purpose Myocardial Feature-Tracking (FT) deformation imaging is superior risk-stratification compared to volumetric approaches. Since there no clear recommendation regarding FT post-processing, we different FT-strain analyses with reference standard techniques, including tagging and strain encoded (SENC) magnetic resonance imaging. Methods software from 4 vendors (TomTec/Medis/Circle(CVI)/Neosoft), (Segment), fastSENC (MyoStrain) were used determine left ventricular global circumferential longitudinal strains (GCS/GLS) in 12 healthy volunteers heart failure patients. Variability agreements assessed using intraclass correlation coefficients absolute agreement (ICCa) consistency (ICCc) as well pearson coefficients. Results For FT-GCS, was excellent comparing FT-vendors (ICCc = 0.84-0.97, r 0.86-0.95) fSENC 0.78-0.89, 0.73-0.81). FT-GCS 0.79-0.85, 0.74-0.77) except TomTec 0.68, 0.72). Absolute between highest CVI Medis (ICCa 0.96) lowest Neosoft 0.32). Similarly, both 0.84-0.88), good 0.77 0.64) 0.41 0.47). FT-GLS, (ICCc?0.86, r?0.76). 0.91-0.93) or 0.69-0.85). (CVI 0.70, 0.60) fair (TomTec 0.41, 0.59) but 0.77-0.90). Conclusion Although differ depending on assessment approaches, are consistently high irrespective the method chosen, thus indicating reliable assessment. Further standardisation introduction uniform references warranted routine clinical implementation.

safety considerations in cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging studies
the aim of this review is focusing on the most important safety issues in cardiovascular mri (magnetic resonance imaging) which are categorized as: 1-safety items in patients who referred for stress cardiac mr studies. 2-safety consideration that we must know when a patient with cardiovascular devices referred for any (cardiovascular or non-cardiovascular) mri with focus on new protocols accord...
متن کاملCardiovascular magnetic resonance feature-tracking assessment of myocardial mechanics: Intervendor agreement and considerations regarding reproducibility
AIM To assess intervendor agreement of cardiovascular magnetic resonance feature tracking (CMR-FT) and to study the impact of repeated measures on reproducibility. MATERIALS AND METHODS Ten healthy volunteers underwent cine imaging in short-axis orientation at rest and with dobutamine stimulation (10 and 20 μg/kg/min). All images were analysed three times using two types of software (TomTec, ...
متن کاملStatic Coil Design Considerations for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging
One of the main challenges in developing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems is to create a static coil that needs to generate magnetic field density along with the characteristics of optimal homogeneity and magnitude size. To do this, two N42 Block PMs are used and the iron core is designed and optimized in accordance with the dimensions of PM pieces using ANSYS Maxwell software. Then, al...
متن کاملQuantitative cardiovascular magnetic resonance perfusion imaging: inter-study reproducibility.
AIMS To evaluate the inter-study reproducibility of quantitative cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) myocardial perfusion imaging and the influence of diurnal variation on perfusion. Data on these are limited, despite being crucially important for performing serial examinations both in clinical practice and in trials. METHODS AND RESULTS Sixteen healthy volunteers underwent high-resolutio...
